Mount Snow is open and the Dew Action Sports Tour is Coming

Mount Snow had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend with the economy thankfully not keeping people from coming up to ski! Hype has been surrounding the new snowmaking system and the mountain has delivered. Now the Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour, coming the week of January 9, is expected to bring 20,000 spectators to the newly updated Carinthia Base Lodge and terrain park. This activity has spurred speculation from mountain employees that there is a possibility of new lifts and a new base village to be constructed sooner rather than later. Let’s all cross our fingers.
