I know this isn't a traditional update with the deals, but I had to let everyone know. Mount Snow officially has snow! They blew snow on the 14th and 15th of October and people have already been out enjoying it. Some rails have been set up on Carinthia and Sundance for hiking fun. At this rate the ski season will be tremendous and we'll have plenty of snow for skiing, snowboarding, and the 2010 Winter Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour.

Mount Snow VT For Sale Oktoberfest Edition

Foliage Update for Mount Snow Valley and Southern Vermont:

This Columbus Day weekend was recording setting for the area. More people came to enjoy Southern Vermont’s festivals than ever in the past. Oktoberfest was a huge hit with record setting crowds that came to enjoy the music and food at the main base of Mount Snow.

The mountain is already starting to get the snow guns ready for the season as temperatures creep lower. The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting record snowfall so we’re hunkering in and getting ready for a great ski and snowboard season.

The finals of the Mountain Dew Pro Action Sports Tour will also be held at Carinthia this year and excitement surrounds that event. The area was packed and busy with the qualifiers last year so the finals should bring even more great crowds and entertainment.

For a final interesting note, Haystack ski mountain is going to be once again opening its doors this season for skiing for the first time in years. They are going to be selling private memberships for skiing and day passes to Wilmington residents.
